Who is Jesus
“Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is come into the world” John 11 v 27
“.....and you shall call His Name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins” Matthew 1 v 21
Jesus said.....”I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” John 14 v 6
The Way to Salvation (from the Epistle to the Romans)
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (3 v 23)
“For the wages of sin is death” (6 v 23a)
“But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (5 v 8)
“.....the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (6 v 23b)
“.....if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (10 v 9, 10)
“For whoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved” (10 v 13)
Prayer for Salvation
If you would like to accept Jesus into your life, and receive the free gift of eternal life, then pray this simple prayer out loud:
“Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I now realize that I have a choice to make about my life. I believe that Jesus died for me, shed His blood to wash away my sins, and that He rose again from the dead making a way for me to have fellowship with You. I turn my back on the life I lived without You, and I choose to follow Jesus from this moment on. I ask Jesus to be Lord of my life and to live in my heart. I thank You, Almighty God, that you love me, have forgiven me, and have accepted me as Your child, and that right now I am a new creation, born of God. Thank You, Heavenly Father”
